792. Optimum solution?
A paddy field in between our town and tne next.
Seeing the rice planting, I always wonder if this type of sparse planting is good.
Acc. to the online information, the ordinary method is that
3 or 4 seedlings in a position with the separation of 30cm width and 20 cm length.
OK, this is sparse enough.
While, in recent years, the arrangement of
only one seedling in a position with the separation of 40cm and 40 cm
has been increasingly adopted.
Even more sparse!
It is said that although the number of planted seedlings is one-tenth that of ordinary method, the harvest amount does not appreciably change.
It looks the farming is not necessarily repeating the same thing every year.

As an analogy, if we regard the paddy field as a radio circuit amplifier, the above can be descrbed as,
-10dB input and yet the same output.
Namely,
Excessive input had made the amplifier saturated, and the correction to the much lower appropriate input level enabled to restore the amplifier original gain, and, as a result, got the same output despite the lowered input.
In any field, it is worth to review their practices.
791.Greenery Day Shouwa Day
At a nearby square. The greenery is dazzling.
This square is also used as the soccer field of children.
After these events, trashes are neatly disposed. But we can collect dozens of large nails, sometimes so many that the collection bucket bottom can't be seen.
In the club beginning, we did not know this and one of our coaching staffs got a serious injury.
Dogs around the square are also affected.
For a week or so after these events, they are eager to come to this ground. Though there is no visible trashes, ordor of grilled squids or similar strongly remains there, and they sense this from afar. It looks there are spilled food scraps too.
Those who keep dogs should be carefull about this.
790. Joint memorial service
4 months has passed since Jiro died.
The spring memorial service was held today.
His playmates had all already died. So I am sure they now again play together in the aother world.
The right is the joint burial place of Taro died 35 years ago. It is about 10m apart from that of Jiro.
